Family Dog Manners II/CGC Prep Class

This is an advanced level class focusing on the behaviors required to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test.

The CGC is the basis for all of the various therapy dog organization tests, so a good start if you are working to become a therapy dog. Dogs learn to walk nicely on leash, sit/stay with distractions, come when called, greet other dogs politely. Family I or equivalent is a pre-requisite. This is a 5 week class. A CGC test will be scheduled at the end of the session.

Tuesdays, Beginning October 17, 2017, 7:00pm

Rally Obedience

This class is an intro (and continuance) to the sport of Rally obedience. The dog and handler complete a course that has been laid out. The team proceeds at their own pace through the course of designated obedience stations. Each station has a sign providing instructions. Rally is a great way to continue working on your obedience skills and your relationship through fun using verbal means of encouragement. Family I or the equivalent is a pre-requisite. This is a 4-week class.
